BodyTalk
BodyTalk.... is a revolutionary health care system which is astonishingly simple, safe, holistic and effective. It allows the body/mind/energy of an individual to be resynchronized to operate as nature intended. When a body is operating at its optimal level, each system, cell, and atom is in constant communication with each other at all times. Daily stresses breakdown this communication resulting in physical, emotional and/or mental decline.
Because BodyTalk allows the body's own healing mechanisms to bring about change, clients see long-lasting, ongoing improvements rather than short-term symptomatic relief. It is non-invasive, objective in application and works on humans, animals and plants.
BodyTalk is a consciousness-based system. It's where ancient wisdoms meet cutting edge science. Bodytalk helps people be more aware of and unravel the patterns which lead them to discomfort or disease. It enables them to live more comfortably within themselves and with more awareness. This enables disease or discomfort to easily be released and the person can then begin to thrive. In addition, because BodyTalk addresses a unique blend of factors for each individual, every persons' sessions are unique to them.
Most people schedule BodyTalk appointments for physical or psychological issues but quickly realize after receiving regular BodyTalk sessions that significant changes then happen in other areas of their lives, including: relationships, emotional patterns, belief systems and attitudes, or family dymanics.
During a BodyTalk session, the practitioner will establish communication with the client's innate wisdom (which is the organizational principle by which all living things strive to maintain health) using neuromuscular biofeedback. Then the client's own body wisdom will lead the practitioner to areas of the body that are not communicating effectively. Next, the practitioner holds the highlighted areas and taps gently on the client's head and sternum. Tapping the head alerts the brain to become aware of and repair the communication while tapping the heart ensures that the new healthy information is stored throughout the whole body. The body is being taught to return itself to balance.
A BodyTalk practitioner does not diagnose or treat specific ailments or prescribe medication or supplements but once a client's overall systems are balanced, significant improvements have been shown in: arthritis, sports injuries, sports performance, emotional disorders, learning disorders, digestive disorders, endocrine disorders, chronic fatigue, headaches, phobias, chronic pain, stress, viruses, infections, allergies, pain, poor memory, depression, insomnia, menstrual or menopause difficulties, infertility, self-esteem, addictions, asthma, life transitions, general wellness.
The number of BodyTalks sessions needed will vary depending on innate requirements but it is usually recommended to begin with 3 sessions. BodyTalk is an excellent tool for prevention and general health maintenance.
BodyTalk Access is a one day course in which is designed to train lay-people in 5 safe, simple techniques so they can use them to help maintain the health of themselves, their families and communities. Even children can be trained to do the Access techniques. These 5 techniques only take 6 minutes to do, have been shown to quickly relieve most minor ailments reducing the need for medical intervention or pharmaceuticals.
BodyTalk was developed by Dr. John Veltheim, an Australian chiropractor, acupuncturist, philosopher, and author. He was principal of the Brisbane College of Acupuncture and Natural Therapies. He has also done post-graduate studies in Applied Kinesiology, bio-energetic therapy, osteopathy, sports medicine, counseling and comparative philosophy, and theology. His books have been translated into many languages and the BodyTalk system is taught in most countries world-wide. It is one of the fastest growing health care modalities in the world due to its effectiveness.
